NATSIHA Members unanimously approved important amendments to the organisation’s Constitution at its Annual General Meeting, marking a significant step toward stronger, more representative governance.
Under the new arrangements, each Member organisation will now hold a dedicated director position on the NATSIHA Board. This change ensures all Members, across the region, have a voice at the Board table.
The reform strengthens NATSIHA’s commitment to community control, transparency, and collective leadership, positioning the organisation to better represent the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services across FNQ.
The updated governance structure takes effect immediately, with processes underway to support Member organisations to nominate their Board representatives.
