
NATSIHA has announced the Board has appointed Joy Savage as Acting Chief Executive Officer, effective 5 January 2026.
Aunty Gail Wason, who has been the Acting CEO of NATSIHA since February 2025, has decided to step down to spend more time closer to home in Mareeba.
NATSIHA extends its deep gratitude to Aunty Gail for her tremendous contribution and steady leadership and guiding NATISHA through an important period.
In late October, Andrew Malcolm stepped in to support NATSIHA through to the end of the year, ensuring continuity during a busy time for the organisation.
NATSIHA welcomed Ms Savage, an experienced CEO from Wuchopperen, who has been seconded into the CEO role for the next few months to continue driving the regionalisation agenda.
